Studio for rent: no longer available Sint-Denijslaan in Gent

*Overview of the student home*
Timi Upkot is located close to HoGent faculties, the public transport of Gent Sint-Pieters and only 10 minutes by bike from Ghent city centre. The studenthome offers fully equipped kitchens, nicely decorated living areas (including sofas, Tvs and a billiard table) as well as a laundry room for all of the tenants.

*Overview of the studio*
The studio itself perfectly allows for autonomy as it is equipped with its own bathroom and kitchen. The kitchen provides a lot of storage as well as appliances such as a microwave and two plates for cooking. The main area of the room is equipped with fixed furniture such as a double bed, two wardrobes (cupboards), two desks with magnetic picture walls, curtains and lightnings. Upkot provides Wifi, bike parking, large terraces and a lot of nice parks very nearby. The Blamerseen area is especially beautiful. Moreover, we (Hanna and Magda, the two current tenants) would also leave over some of our equipment to you including 4 chairs, a mattress, a clothes horse and additional lamps. If you take care, we would also entrust you our beloved palm tree.

*Overview of the costs*
The cosy Studio in Timi Upkot is perfect for couples as well as for individuals. The room will be available from the 01.02.21 onwards. Two people can live in for a total of 720€. Monthly fee for rent is about 635€, additional costs are 120€, including water, electricity, heating, internet.

As Erasmus students we can warmly recommend staying at the student home if you’re coming from abroad, as well. You don’t have to make an appointment in person for getting the contract, however, it is possible to visit the studio via virtual room tours beforehand. Tamara, our Upkot Coach will guide you through all the bureaucracy contract stuff and will make all the conditions very transparent. Once you are hear, it will be very easily to get in contact with the other students living here – even during Corona-times ;)
